Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha more known by her stage and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. Gugu became famous for her role in the BBC television series of science fiction called Doctor Who. Gugu gained a great deal of acclaim for her performance in the role of Tish Jones, who was the younger sister of the major character Martha Jones, in the series. The audience loved Gugu's bright spontaneity. It was impossible to go to stop her from her successful acting future! Gugu has also appeared in various British stage and television productions. Her work has been highly praised by critics for her role of "Belle" (2013), an English period drama and "Beyond the lights", a romantic comedy. Apart from starring in American films like Tom Hankscomedy "Larry Crowne" and 'Larry Crowne', she has also played on TV shows like "Undercover" and Touch'. Gugu Mbatha Raw starred in the play "Nell Gwynn" created by Jessica Swale as an actress who was also the mistress of King Charles II. The actress received lots of praise from critics that were extremely pleased with her acting skills as well as her performance. She went on to be nominated for the prestigious 'Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress. Gugu has been awarded an award called the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth.
Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on February 25, 1975 at Livingston New Jersey. She was born the youngest of three children in a big family. Handler was raised with a family comprised of six children. Her mother was employed at home while her father was a dealer of used vehicles. Her mother, born in Germany and an Immigrant in America in the year 1958, was born and raised there. United States since 1958, was born in Germany. In 1989, she was diagnosed with cancer, and passed away ten years following. Handler is a Reform Jew as well as her father who was Jewish. Handler had a happy and healthy life growing up in an affluent area. As a teenager she moved from the city of her birth to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Handler was an actor in order to support herself. However, when she was age 21, Handler decided to pursue the stand-up comic profession full-time, since she discovered her storytelling talents. Handler's career began as part of an all-female Oxygen television cast on the reality show with a hidden camera and practical humor series Girls Behaving Unstably. This reality TV show was on from 2002 to 2005. Handler started appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her career as a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 hosting her E! show. known as The Chelsea Handler show. The show ran for two seasons. Handler followed this up by appearing in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour and in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend & HBO have shown Handler's stand-up shows. She was named as the host of 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. She became only the second female host of the VMAs, after Roseanne Bar.
