Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix is a Los Angeles native born on the 18th November 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident right from the day she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her initial tryout, she placed in second place in the 200-meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix completed her high school graduation having signed a professional contract with the company that makes sports Adidas and then enrolled at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics held which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record the 200m race in 22.18 secs. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world for the distance of 200 meters. In 2007, she won her title by beating Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in every event.
