Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was evident right from the day she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed a sports contract with Adidas. After that, she attended the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. A year later Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making the world junior record taking 200 metres in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest winner of the 200 meters during the World Championships held in Helsinki in 2005. She was able to defend her record once again in 2007, defeating the long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in London, Beijing Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She consistently placed within the top three places of every event.
